Daylilies (a.k.a. Hemerocallis) are one of the easiest flowers to grow.

Today's daylilies are no longer just orange and yellow. They now come in a multitude of colors, shapes, and sizes and different forms to please many different tastes. The Houston Hemerocallis Society is a group of gardening enthusiasts who share the love of growing daylilies.

Among ADS acredited 2025 Daylily shows, our club was 2nd among Texas clubs and 11th nationally for the number of scapes entered. Congratulations to all who participated.

Congratulations also go out to Richard and Denise Carlson who have been awarded the Bertha Ella Cone Award for 2025.

Our next meeting will be on February 22, 2026 at 6:30 pm in the Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion at McGovern Centennial Gardens, 1500 Hermann Drive, Houston, Texas
