Daylilies (a.k.a. Hemerocallis) are one of the easiest flowers to grow.

Today's daylilies are no longer just orange and yellow. They now come in a multitude of colors, shapes, and sizes and different forms to please many different tastes. The Houston Hemerocallis Society is a group of gardening enthusiasts who share the love of growing daylilies.

HHS News - - September 29th, 2026

A potting party is scheduled for Saturday, October 10th. Plants for this coming spring daylily sale will have arrived by then. We'll be starting around 8:00 am and with enough volunteers, we should be able to finish potting and tagging within a couple of hours. As usual there will be water, doughnuts, and daylily cheer for everyone.

Our next meeting will be held on October 22nd, 2026 at 6:30 pm in the Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion at McGovern Centennial Gardens, 1500 Hermann Drive, Houston, Texas

As always, guests are welcome so come on by and join us!
